Last week I started Christmas shopping. I'll be the first to admit that shopping online has meant a few changes to the way we get things now. So this week I thought I might share 3 tips about Christmas shopping.
1. Know the business and their online rep - check out their reviews and what people say about them. You'll often hear about scams on places like Facebook Market. Most likely a deal on one of those places that seems too good to be true often is.
2. Christmas shopping / shipping times - next month (November) the deadline for sending parcels overseas to Australia closes. But definitely don't wait until then. There are shipping and freight delays the world over and it's hard to know just when your parcel is arriving. Top tip to get in smart with that purchase & postage.
3. If you're looking for a stressful free shopping experience it's hard to beat shopping local. Whether it's at the local dairy or a kiwi business based in Aotearoa, shopping local is great for everyone.
You'll find that there are a lot of small businesses that are hugely passionate about their products and what they believe in. Like us, they're often run by a whānau that are ready to make your shopping journey with them, a valuable & memorable experience.
In return, your order will fuel many happy dances & brighten their smiles.
