You can now donate a native tree to the Trees for Survival Trust

Tracey and the whānau here at Aramoana Gifts are so pleased to be supporting the Trees for Survival organisation. 

A $6.00 donation all goes towards helping Kiwi kids plant a brighter future.

“Trees for Survival is a charitable trust that works with schools and local communities to grow and plant native trees along waterways and on erosion prone hillsides. Our environmental education programme provides an opportunity for school children to make a practical difference to their environment as well as learn about conservation, revegetation, wetland restoration and protecting stream quality”.

Your donation goes towards:

• eco-sourced seed collection
• professional seed germination
• seedling distribution to schools
• visits to the school by a TfS Facilitator to not only assist the children in the care of the plants, but also for learnings about horticulture, the environment and native ecology
• the organisation of planting sites and landowner arrangements
• and the highlight of the season, organisation of the Planting-out day
